How the Smart Contract Works
Under the hood, the CAUSE token contract includes a transfer hook that intercepts each transaction and routes the giveback allocation to a multi-signature treasury wallet controlled by the Cause Foundation. This treasury is governed by transparent on-chain rules: funds can only be disbursed to verified nonprofit partner addresses, and every outgoing transfer is publicly auditable on the blockchain. The smart contract has been independently audited to ensure that the giveback mechanism cannot be exploited, paused, or redirected. What you see in the code is exactly what happens on every single transaction.
